About Lance

Lance Redmon, a product of Katy ISD and a graduate of Katy High School, was elected to Position 2 on the Katy ISD Board of Trustees in May 2019. He has been an active volunteer with the Katy ISD Education Foundation Board, Katy Improvement Council, and the PTA. Redmon is also a graduate of Katy ISD's Leadership Katy program and completed the Leadership TASB program in June 2024, earning the prestigious title of Master Trustee. In addition to his service on the board, he serves in junior high student ministry at his church, Grace Fellowship, and is a member of C12, a Christian business leadership organization. Professionally, Redmon is the president of Specialized Building Systems and holds degrees from Rice University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Bradi, a former Katy ISD elementary school teacher, have lived in Katy since 1981 and have three children currently enrolled in Katy ISD schools.
